The Zero Carbon Forum’s 5 Year Review Highlights Major Emission Cuts and Millions Saved, Driving Sector Efficiency and Resilience
The Zero Carbon Forum is delivering real, measurable progress towards net zero in the brewing and hospitality sector. With a membership group of 70 brewing and hospitality leaders, their goal is to share solutions and achieve more together than any one business could alone.
Through collective action, over the past five years, Forum members have successfully reduced energy emissions by 52% and made annualised savings of 825,000 tonnes of carbon - a reduction equivalent to the annual footprint of cities the size of Bath, Southampton, or York. These results prove that credible climate action is a vital tool for stability, and by identifying and reducing energy waste, members have recovered over £5 million in lost profits. Through the Forum's work, members are boosting efficiency, brand trust, and operational resilience at a time when the brewing and hospitality sector needs every available tool for success.
